| Army School Domana celebrates Annual Day | | | Early Times Reporter

Army School Domana celebrated its Annual Day by organizing a colourful function in the school premises.
Patron of the School, Maj. Gen Sanjeev Loomba was chief guest in the function while Brig. KC Pant Chairman of the school was the guest of honor on the occasion. The function was attended by many dignitaries, including army officers, parents and other guests.
On the occasion, student presented various cultural and entertaining items, which included patriotic songs, folk dances, fancy dress show, jungle song etc. Besides, some Yoga exercises were also performed by the tiny tots.
The chief guest distributed prizes among the meritorious students. Akhil Bhat , topper in Class XII CBSE session 2006-07 Jammu region was also being felicitated by the chief guest.
In his address, Chief Guest said that the school has excelled in academics highlighted and other fields and has grown from strength to strength. He also assured the audience that the school will continue in pursuit of excellence with its excellent teaching staff.
Earlier, Dr Renu Gupta, Principal of the school, presented annual report of 2006-07 and highlighted all round achievements of the school
Vote of thanks was presented by Suresh Koul, PGT of the school.The programme concluded with the singing of National Anthem. |
