| AJSP for early rescue of snow effected people | | | Early Times Reporter

Awami Jan Shakti Party (AJSP) today urged up on the central and the state government for the rescue of the snow effected people of the state and demanded immediate relief and rehabilitation for these people.
While addressing a press conference here on Thursday, AJSP Vice president Dr.A K Kharu stressed up on the central and the state government for taking necessary steps in rehabilitation of snow-affected people of the state.
He said that post snow situation has created miseries for the people belonging to far off places and were lacking for essential commodities after the heavy snow fall in the state.
Dr. A K Kharu further urged up on the government for early restoration of road links and electricity, which got totally damaged during the snowfall in theses areas.
He further demanded to asses the loss met by the farmers due to heavy snowfall and asked government to sanction relief package for them.
Awami Jan Shakti party leaders also criticized the government for not putting the reservation bill for women in the assembly besides unnecessarily delaying the Panchayat elections.
Others present on the occasion were State president Sanjeev Mannotra, State secretary Sarafraz Ashamed Qureshi, Provincial president Chain Singh and others. |
