| Micky calls on Sonia Gandhi | | | Early Times reporter

Deputy Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Mr. Arvinder Singh Micky called on the UPA Chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi today at New Delhi and apprised her about the various development programmes in the State. He thanked Mrs. Gandhi for arranging special incentives for the Jammu and Kashmir under PM’s package and timely relief measures for earth quake victims and sufferers of other natural calamities in the State.
During the meeting, Micky discussed the 15-point programme of Prime Minister for the upliftment of Minority Communities in the countries. He also requested the UPA chairperson to depute a team of officers to Jammu and Kashmir to assess the loss occurred due to heavy snow fall in the State, so that the affected persons could be provided necessary relief. He also conveyed gratitude to Mrs. Gandhi for bringing Jammu and Kashmir under NREGA
