| Valentine Day celebrated as a parents worship day | | | Early Times reporter

With the blessings and inspiration of His Holiness Sant Shri Asa Ram Ji Bapu, February 14 (Valentine Day) was celebrated as ‘parents worship day’ here today at Bhagwati Nagar Ashram also like other ashrams spread over the world. Valentine Day celebration is the rubbish of the west and it is unfortunate that our young generation has fallen a prey to it by imitating this worst type of ‘filth’ of the western culture which results in ‘carrier’ and life-disaster.
About 95% marriages result into ‘divorces’ about 10% result into suicides and the life becomes a hell for the surviving.
Bapuji chose this day to ‘rename’ it as ‘parents worship day’ all over the world with the motive to infuse and nurture in the youngsters the high moral values of our Indian culture thereby safe guarding the youths from adopting hellish activities.
Recalling the significance of celebrating this day as ‘parents worship day’, Bapuji reminded the Indian youths of ‘Lord Ganesha’ the elder son of Lord Shiva who set an example by worshipping his parents ‘Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati Ji’ by circumnutating them and attained a name and place among the Deities to be worship ‘first’.
On this auspicious day, a free medical camp had been organized and Vaids from Delhi and Ahmdabad were among the other consultants. Further the patients suffering ‘Arthitis & bone pains’ were given ‘oil’ free of cost as a boon.
Thousands visited the ashram with their children and availed of the free medical camp facilities
