SRMSS demands development of Raghunath Mandir
5/24/2018 10:09:04 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 24: Shri Raghunath ji Mandir Sewa Samitti has welcomed state government for sanctioning Rs 5 Crore for the development of Raghunath Bazar and also appreciated the steps taken by Chief Minister for promoting tourist spot such as Zoo at Khanpur Nagrota, starting cable car project from Mubarak Mandi to Bahufort which were very long pending demands of the public.
Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir Sewa Samitti also reminded Madam Mehbooba Mufti of her last one year ago announcement during inauguration of flyover at Vikram Chowk in which she had said that she was keen interested to develop Shri Raghunath Ji Temple on pattern of Shri Golden Temple Amritsar and now the people of Jammu want to know from Chief Minister that what she did in this regard.
The Samiti alleged that all previous State Governments as well as present BJP-PDP led coalition Government are not serious about Hindu religious places which is quite clear from delaying Mandir bill by this government and if Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is really interested to develop Shri Raghunath Ji temple on the pattern of golden temple she should first introduce temple and shrine Bill in next assembly session and once if public board is constituted all the temples will be automatically developed properly.
Others present in the press conference were Ved Gandotra, Pritam Sharma, Raj Kumar Tyagi, Rajinder Bhagat, Kamal Sharma and others.
