| Sadhotra seeks airlifting commodities | | | Early Times Reporter

Expressing his grave concern over the shortage of essential commodities in the snow bounds areas like Poonch, Doda, Ramban, Kishtwar and parts of Gool and Mahore, the National Conference Provincial President Ajay Sadhotra has asked the government to airlift the essential commodities in these deficit areas.
In a statement issued here today Sadhotra said that the farmers were facing acute shortage of fodder for their livestock and impressed upon the government to ensure timely availability of the same so as to save the livestock which is the only source of income for the poor people.
Stressing upon the need for providing relief to the affected people on war footing, the NC leader said government should ensure that the teams which are going to assess the damages should on spot disburse relief to the sufferers and ensure that no discrimination is done while distributing the relief among the sufferers. |
