Jammu, May 29: After a video showing a youth allegedlly outraging modesty of a girl went viral on social media, Kana Chak police registered a case against unidentified persons.
"As there was no complaint, the police took cognizance and filed an FIR in the case under section 354 of RPC at Kana Chak police station and started investigation in the case. The case has been filed against unidentified persons for allegedly outraging modesty of a girl, and circulating video on the social networking site.
Sources further said that yet IT Act was added in the case which likely to be added.
However, no arrest has been made in the case and a hunt has been launched against the accused persons. The video, which has gone viral on social media, was allegedly been video-graphed at Gumpul falling under the jurisdiction of Kana Chak police station. |
