| IGNOU Jammu organizes Orientation Programme | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 29: A one-day orientation programme of Examination Centres was organized by the Regional Centre Jammu in which Examination Superintendents and other functionaries of IGNOU Examination Centres of Jammu region participated. The Orientation Programme was organized in the Conference Hall of Govt. MAM College, Jammu. The University has established twenty five Examination Centres for the forthcoming June 2018 Term-End Examinations in all ten districts of the region which include three Centres in Jails exclusively for jail inmates. The June 2018 Term-End Examinations of IGNOU are being held from 1st June, 2018 to 22nd June 2018. The aim of this Orientation Programme was to familiarize all the functionaries with the scheme and system of Examinations in IGNOU. Various activities involved in the conduct of Examinations were discussed in detail. Several queries raised by the participants were replied to in detail by the Regional Centre Jammu functionaries in an interactive session.
Vikram Singh, Regional Director I/c, IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of Orientation Programme and asserted that the forthcoming examinations would be conducted in a fair and smooth manner with the cooperation and support of functionaries associated with the Examination Centres.
Assistant Regional Directors, Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Dr. Asha Upadhyay, Assistant Registrar, S. Tejinder Pal Singh, Rakesh Koul, Lakhbir Singh and Naveen Dutta were a part of the Orientation Team from Regional Centre Jammu. |
