| Mufti meets delegation of backward classes | | | Early Times Reporter

A delegation comprising of leaders of various social organizations of Jammu province met former Chief Minister and Patron of People's Democratic Party (PDP) Mr. Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, to express their gratitude for giving due representation in their party to people belonging to backward classes.
The delegation was led by recently elected chairman of the PDP cell of the Schedule Caste and Backward Classes Commission Mr.H.R.Chargotra. Other members of the delegation included President of Vishwakarma Sabha Mr. R.L.Chargotra, President of Kashyap Rajput Sabha Mr. Veer Bhushan and Chairman of National Trade Union Mr. Chaman.
The delegation leaders thanked the PDP patron for appointing Mr. Chargotra as chairman of the newly created cell. They brought the problems being faced by them in the notice of the PDP patron, seeking their speedy redressal. Mr. Mufti Mohammed Sayeed assured the delegation that appointment of Mr. Chargotra itself indicates the seriousness of PDP towards taking up the cause of backward classes.
Later, the delegation which assured their full support to People's Democratic Party (PDP) was felicitated at the party office by Vice-President and MLC Mr. Ved Mahajan, President of Youth Wing and MLC Basharat Bukhari, General Secretary Mr. Daman Bhasin, Press and Publicity Secretary Mrs. Renu Azad and Mr. R.K.Bali.
