Army troops today averted a major tragedy when they recovered a bomb near Indo-Pak border in Jammu district, official sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, troops recovered a high explosive device from a field in Jodiyan area in Khour belt of Jammu district on Saturday, they said.
It was later diffused by the troops, they said, adding that the explosive device was capable of blowing up a tank.
