BLSKS organizes fortnight special campaign on diarrhoea control

Jammu, June 2: To promote the traditional culture of J&K to aware the masses , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan organized fortnight special campaign on control of Diarrhoea in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production & National college of computer education Janipur and presented its 211th Saturday Series Dogri Musical Play "Jal Hi Jeevan " on the theme of "Control Diarrhoea" at open air theatre Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu. The play was written, produced and directed by M.L.Dogra, renowned writer and musical play director. The Program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, and Government of India. Among the Guest of Honors present were Dr. A.C.Bhagat , Former Chief Officer Department of Animal Husbandry, J&K Government, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director , Health Department J&K Government of India, R.P.Amla, Event Director, Dr.Anju Kumari Dogra , Directorate of Health , J&K Government & Speaking at the occasion as the Chief Guest, said that collective effort is quite necessary to control diarrhoea. He said that mass awareness is also required for successful implementation of the intensified diarrhoea control fortnight. Diarrhoea is a disease which everyone has heard about from the past many years but fighting this deadly disease needs proper attention and effective measures. This special campaign organized by the organization is to establish to reach the goal of raising awareness to save and the thousands of lives it costs every year.
