Jammu and Kashmir Bank Rajouri today adopted village Muradpur six kilometer a head of Rajouri town. The objective of the adoption of village into provide banking facilities to the rural people at their door step.
District Development Commissioner, Rajouri Mr. Rafiq Ahmed Sheikh inaugurated the function by lighting of traditional candle. Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri Mr. K.L Khajuria, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Planning Officer, Project Officer, DRDA, District Panchyat Officer besides bankers and prominent of Rajouri town were present on the occasion.
In his welcome address, Vice-President of the Bank, Mr. Madan Gupta gave a concept of village adoption and said that J&K Bank, identifies empowerment as the process of enhancing the capacity of the individuals or groups to make choices and to transform those choices into desired action and out come. He said the people of this village should be provided facilities at their door steps while sanctioning the cases.
