| GCW Parade emerges winner in Western group singing | | | Early Times Reporter

In the ongoing Display Your Talent Contest being organized by the Department of Students welfare, Jammu University, Govt. Women College Parade emerged as winner in Western Group Singing competition while GCW Gandhi Nagar and GCW Udhampur bagged second and third place.
In Western Vocal Solo, Shivani Koul from GCW Parade bagged first prize while Gurvinder Kour from GCW Gandhi Nagar and Gaurav Sharma from SPMR College of Commerce shared second and third prize. Certificates of merit were awarded to Heena Sharma from GCW Parade, Ankush Manhas KC Law College and Sheena Maini from GCW Gandhi Nagar.
Today Contest was adjudged by S. Jagdeep Singh, Sumit Sharma and Digvijay Singh. Chairman Campus Cultural Committee, Prof. NR Sharma distribute the prizes among the winners. Speaking on the occasion, he said that this time, the standard of the performance in the various individuals as well as team events, is very high and need to be appreciated. He further hoped that students shall participate in the rest of the events with same enthusiasms.
Today’s programme was compeered by Rishi Kumar. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Vijay Atri, Asstt. Dean (cultural affairs).
