| CI Force presents color TV sets with DTH to four Kalakote villages | | | Early Times Reporter

As part of Operation Sadbhavana, the Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) today presented color Television sets with DTH connection to four more villages of tehsil Kalakote at an impressive function.
These sets were provided to four villages which include Mathiyanigala, Paltha, Jata Brahmanan and Baroh. These villages located in far flung areas of Kalakote are mainly dominated by small farmers, economically weaker sections and daily wage earners.
While presenting these TV and DTH sets, the Army authorities hoped that this facility will generate more awareness in the villages about the welfare schemes launched by the government and the Army, apart from helping the educated youth to know about the employment options available to them. These sets were handed over to the village elders. Village committees were also formed to up keep the functioning of these sets for community viewing.
The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Uniform Force for this noble gesture.
