| Sex Scandal, Militancy two faces of a coin: Janta Party | | | Jammu, Aug 25 : Demanding a logical conclusion of infamous sex scandal of Srinagar and Handwara, State President Janata Party Som Nath Dabgotra today said that sex scandal, corruption and militancy are two faces of single coin and all those involved needed to be punished uniformly.
Addressing Media Personnel here today, Som Nath Dabgotra said that Corruption, Militancy and sex scandal are inter-related. “Recently Ghulam Nabi Azad in an interview to the electronic and print media he is reported to have said that militancy can be curbed and contained very successfully if all the inhabitants of the state openly oppose militancy” he said and added “Azad has not spoken anything about the flourishing flesh trade and corruption involving high ups in politics and the administration”
Janata Party, he said, condemns the silence on the part of the State Government regarding sex scandal corruption and militancy. The case he said needed to bring to conclusion and those involved in the scandal should be put behind bars.
“Janta Party also resented under pressure closure of investigation of the sex scandal which surfaced in Bhaderwah, the Chief Ministers Constituency” he said adding the case was reported in the media about three months back and some people were arrested in the case. |
