| “Yadon Ke Chinar” launched | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu Feb 17 Maikash Kashmiri Literary Society Jammu and Jagan Nath Foundation Jammu in collaboration with Nami Dogri Sanstha launched “Yadon Ke Chinar” the first ever music album on the poetry of late, Pandit Kailash Nath Kaul Maikash Kashmiri, sung and composed by singing sensation of Jammu and Kashmir Mohatrma Seema Sehgal in Jammu Club today. The music album was launched by K.M Wani, T.S Wazir, Dr. Rafiq Masoodi, Aseer Kishtwari, eminent fiction writer and advocate of Supreme Court of India, S.S Anand Lehar and P.S Betab, Patron of MKLS Col. Sanjeev Kaul, Convenor of MKLS Amin Banjara and Presidnet NDS-TAF Harish Kaila also shared the presidium. On this occasion, Seema Sehgal in her melodious voice moved the audience by singing Maikash Kashmiri’s Ghazals and Nazms. Parshotam Chand, Bahadur Singh, Sunil Sharma and Arvind Kumar accompanied her on their instruments. Amin Banjara, convener MKLS, in his welcome address highlighted that today’s programme is memorable because the famous poet of Urdu world Maikash Kashmiri was paid musical tribute by none other than the daughter of the soil, Mohatram Seema Sehgal in her melodious voice. Harish Kaila, president NDS-TAF said that late Maikash Kashmiri had been a great stalwart of Urdu and Persian poetry vote of thanks was presented by Yash Paul Yash.
