Listen government officials –before claiming your April salary, be sure that your electricity bills till March are clear.
The Chief Engineer M&RE has urged state employees to clear their power dues by ending March 2008 in compliance to the instructions issued by government to this effect already.
He said that it has been made obligatory on the part of all drawing and disbursing officers/treasury officers to draw and disburse the salary of the officers/officials for the month of February every year in favour of the employees under their jurisdiction after satisfying themselves about the clearance of power dues.
He urged all the drawing and disbursing officers/ treasury officers to ensure strict compliance of the government instructions.
