| Govt issues de-registration notices 551 SSIs | | | Early Times Reporter

Jammu and Kashmir government has issued notices for de-registration to 551 Small Scale Industrial (SSI) units in the state.
Jammu District Industrial Centre (DIC) issued the notices after they were found closed during an inspection by DIC officials recently, official sources said.
The units have been asked clarify their stand within a fortnight, failing which they will be de-recognised.
These units were setup with subsidies by the industry department, but they closed soon after availing it.
