| Wushu team bring laurels for State | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 18 Wushu team had brought laurels to the state by winning 5 medals at the 16th Sr. National Wushu Championship being held at Meerut. The team had returned with five medals with one Gold, one silver and three bronze. With this splendid performance, the J&K State Wushu teams have qualified for the 34th National games to be held in Ranchi. Sub Inspector Vivek Basan secured gold medal, Bhanu Pratap bagged Silver medal while Arun Singh, Lalit Singh and Sanjeev Sharma of J&K Police shared bronze medal. The team had been trained under the supervision of Inspector Kuldeep Handoo (India Coach). Now the team will take part in the 7th Asian Wushu Championship to be held in Macau (China) in the month of May.
