| Two arrested in stabbing case | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 18 Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed to have solved a blind murder case and arrested two persons, who alleged stabbed one person to death and injured another on February 5 in Gandhi Nagar area. Two persons, identified as Preetam Bhadur of Nepal and his brother Man Bhadur were stabbed by undefined motorcyclists on February 5. Preetam, who was working as Chowkidar at a residential house, later succumbed to his injuries. An official spokesman informed that soon after the registration of murder case, police station Gandhi Nagar took the investigation of the case and identified the assailants. Several raids were conducted to nab them but the accused were at large. This morning a team of police, led by SP Zahid Manhas and SHO Rafeeq Manhas, laid a naka at Bus Stand area and arrested the two culprits. They were later identified as Randeep Singh son of Inderjeet Singh of Nanak Nagar and Parveling Singh alias Bilav son of Avtar Singh. Police said that it recovered the weapon of offence (a sharp edged weapon) from their possession and also a motorcycle, used by the accused for the commission of the offence.
