| GCW Gandhi Nagar wins best production award | | | Early Times Reporter

Toba Tek Singh a play in Hindi on the famous story of Urdu writer Sadat Hassan Mantoo presented by Govt. Women College Gandhi Nagar grabbed the best production of the One Act Play competition conducted by the Department of Students Welfare under the Display Your Talent contest at Jammu University.
Shiv Rams play Janta Pagal Ho Gaia Hai presented by the PG Integrated Team, Jammu University and Kanjoos an adaption in Hindi of a French comedy by Moiler presented by the team from GCW Parade shared second and third place.
Bhasha Sumbli as Bishan in the play Toba TEk Singh, Juhi Moahn as Sarkar in the play Janta Pagal Ho Gai Hai and Ifra Mushtaq as Mirza sakhwat Ali Beg in the paly Kanjoos bagged first, second and third prize in the female acting category while Vikas Sharma and Arjun Sharma as Jadka No.3 and 23 in the play Havalat were awarded with the certificates of merit.
Today’s contest was adjudged by Kavi Ratttan, MP Sharma and Dr. Sudhir Mahajan.Dean Student Welfare Dr PS Pathania distributed prizes among the winners.The programme was compeered by Vinay Sharma.
