| 2 bronze medals for J&K in Asia Cup Karate | | | Early Times Reporter

Part of the Indian team, two Jammu and Kashmir karatekas won bronze medals in the Ist Seiko Kai Asia Cup Karate Championship held at New Delhi under the banner of Shito Ryu Seiko Kai Karate Do India, an approved discipline of All India Karate Federation (AIKF).
While Ambedkar Gupta won bronze in senior (75-80 kg) category, Manik Jandial clinched the medal in 10-12 year age group, a handout issued by Shito-Ryu Seiko Kai Karate-Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir said.
Other team members from J&K who were part of the Indian team include Sooraj Kumar, Gursharan, Rinku Sharma, Tushar Jandial, Sahil Singh and Yuvraj Singh.
For his achievement, Ambedkar Gupta was presented trophy by Sensei Bharat Sharma, style chief of Shito Ryu Seiko Kai India and treasurer AIKF.
