| Army renovates school | | | Early Times Reporter

As part of its effort to reach out to children in the far flung and inaccessible area, renovation of Government Middle School, Argi was done by 20 Rashtriya Rifles (DOGRA). An amount worth one lac was also handed over to the school authorities of Government Higher Secondary School at Jamola and books worth Rs 50,000/- handed over to Government Middle School Kandi for establishment of a library.
The inauguration programme was attended by Brigadier Jag Mohan Varma Commander 13 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, DIG Police, Rajouri, Chief Education Officer, Zonal Education Officer, Block Development Officer and other prominent civil officials.
The local populace expressed their gratitude to the Army for the sterling work done and assured their whole hearted support and co-operation for the further development of the region.
