JAMMU, June 22: The main function on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti will be held on June 28 at different venues including Kabir Bhawan, Chak-Avtara, Bishnah, Kabir Mandir Rehari and Abhinav Theatre Jammu.
This was informed in a press conference of Bhagat Samaj held today at Press Club of Jammu. GR Bhagat, coordinator of Sadguru Kabir Jayanti Celebration Committee (J&K) while addressing the media persons said that keeping in view that the summer is at its peak and it will be very difficult to organize the function/arrangements for such a huge gathering at one place. It is, there decided that the public/Kabir panthies can attend the function at any venue which is convenient to them.
He said that besides this, a Shoba Yatra on Kabir Jayanti decorated with beautiful jhankis will also be organized on June 24. The Shoba Yatra will commence from MA Stadium passing through Jewel Chowk, Gummat, Sunder Singh Road, Raghunath Bazar, City Chowk, Purani Mandi, Parade, Exchange Road and then will be received at Kabir Mandir, Rehari where satsang on the philosophy of Sadguru Kabir Sahib and Guru Ka Langar will also be arranged. Bhagat appealed the general public/kabir panthies to participate in both the functions and have the blessings of Kabir Sahib. |
