Jammu | Feb 20
Contrary to claims of providing succour to militancy victims, a youth from a far flung area of Doda District whose three family members were killed by militants eight years ago, is still running from pillar to post for want of job under SRO 43.
Three familiy members of victim, Abdul Latif Choudery were killed in April 2000 at village Kuddar Harilak, some thirty kilometers away from Doda.
Abdul Latif said that he has been making every effort since then to get adjusted somewhere under SRO 43 but unfortunately it has proven to be a futile exercise so far. " My parents and sister were killed by militants on 12th of April in 2000 and being the eldest child in my family, I gave every thing in upbringing my brothers and sisters despite being immature at that time but government did nothing in providing me a job under the SRO," he said.
He further said that other victims of the area were given absorbed in government jobs but my case has been eating dust in offices since years.
