Sunday Cricket Club organizes mega Langer

Jammu, June 24: Sunday Cricket Club, Jammu, organized a mega Langer at Jewel Chowk here today to facilitate refreshment to the general public, which especially included Amaranth Yaris and devotees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji. The Langer was inaugurated by the members of the Club. It was for the first time that a sports club organized such a camp in Jammu. At least fifteen thousand members of general public including the pilgrims/devotees were served refreshment (Prashad of Mata Ji) at the Langer. The public widely appreciated this voluntary social activity. The people in general hailed the arrangements made at the camp. The organizers thanked the district administration, especially the deputy commissioner, Jammu, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu and Inspector General of Police (IGP),Traffic, for providing huge support to the Langer. "It would not have been possible without their support. We are highly thankful for lending the support," said the organizers.
"The management of huge traffic and large scale public movement at Jewel chowk was excellent which facilitated and ensured easy access to the general public and pilgrims/devotees to the Langer," added the organizers. Notably, the Club is planning more social activities like establishing such Langers in future also so that public in general and the pilgrims and devotees in this scorching heat are provided convenience at every step in the city of temples.
