| Homage paid to Bakshi | | Tarigami describes him untiring revolutionary | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 20 Paying homage to Comrade K K Bakshi, the veteran trade union leader, who passed away here yesterday, the State Unit of Communist Party of India (M) has pledged to carry forward the struggle for worker’s rights adding that the memories of the late comrade will always remain with the party leaders. Party State Secretary M Y Tarija in a statement has said that ‘despite ill health the late Comrade K K Bakshi never deterred from leading and helping the workers in their fight for their rights. His dedicated work and devotion toward the cause of the working class and his tremendous organizing capacity made him popular among the trade union movement of the state’, he added. Describing his as ‘an untiring revolutionary’, the CPI leader said that late Bakshi never bothered about his personal needs and was always seen extending help to one and all who wanted some help. In his demise, he said, the working class of the state has lost a dedicated leader and veteran revolutionary adding that his sacrifices will for ever inspire all those committed to the cause of people. Earlier, the regional committee of the party in its meeting held with Comrade Sham Prasad Kessar, regional secretary in chair, expressed deep shock over the demise of Comrade Bakshi, state general secretary of CITU.
