Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 20 Adbi Kunj, in its literary-cum-poetic meet held at its literary centre New Shastrti Memorial Higher Secondary School, has congratulated Col (Retd) Sanjeev Koul for bringing out the 4th Urdu poetic collection titled ‘Saaz-e-Range-Jaan’ of late Maikash Kashmiri. Sham Talib, President Adbi Kunj has also complimented Seema Anil Sehgal, a noted vocalist, for the release of a CD ‘Yadoon Ke Chinar’ based on Maikash’s ghazals. In today’s meet, which was presided over by Muni Lal a well known freedom fighter and noted writer and poet, Keerat Singh Inquillabi read out a special paper in English captioned ‘Guru-Ravi Dass- the champion of down trodden’, throwing detailed light on the life of the saint poet. Sham Talib and Talib Kashmir through their write ups paid rich tributes to eminent poet Mirza Assadullah Khan Ghalib on his 139th death anniversary and highlighted his outstanding contribution to the spirit and art of poetry. Muni Lal Puri read out a paper pointing to the menace of provincialism in the context of recent regional flare up in Maharashtra state. In the poetic session, Ch .Mohammed Idris Shaad, Talib Kashmiri, Babli Zutshi, Mohammed Nayeem Sayyed, Keerath Singh Inquillabi, Kimti Lal Deewana and Sham Talib recited their poems in Gorji, Urdu and Kashmir, Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi and Urdu, Hindi, Urdu and Dogra respectively.
