2459 candidates appeared in B Ed Entrance Test in Jammu

SRINAGAR, June 24: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) Sunday conducted B. Ed. Jammu - 2018 Entrance Test in various centres at Jammu. The controller of Examination, BOPEE, Dr BL Gupta said out of a total of 2988 applicants, 2459 candidates appeared in the Entrance Test while 529 candidates remained absent. He said four centres were designated in Govt. M.A.M. College, GCW Gandhinagar, SPMR College of Commerce and Govt. College of Education in Jammu.
Gupta said Board Officials visited various centres at Jammu and supervised the whole exercise in a smooth and effective manner and that four-member Monitoring squad of the rank of College Principals/Professor were appointed by BOPEE to monitor the entrance test activities at their respective allotted centres as per the rules and regulation of BOPEE. He expressed its gratitude to the Divisional/District Administration for providing necessary administrative backup and to the Principals and Staff of all the Govt. Colleges for their help and support in conducting the test in a hassle-free manner. He said the Board has also uploaded the answer key on its website for making representation by the candidates if any, in accordance with the conditions contained in the relevant notifications.
