Jammu, June 24: Reacting sharply to the statements of many stalwarts politicians, Aam Aadmi Party in a press handout issued here have expressed great surprise and wonder on the mind set of Omar Abdullah who has completely forgot the repeated packages with government of India be it the period of his grandfather in 1975 making an agreement with the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, then in 1987 made by his father in 1987 with the then Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi and again in 2002 when Omar become MOS for Foreign Affairs during Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government.
The statement issued by former Chief Minister- Omar Abdullah some days back regarding genesis of Kashmir problem & that it will not be resolved by financial packages, development or jobs & the J&K In fact, the release said that people of the state have been forced to pay out of their nose for the sins of NC which they have sown in 1987 resorting to unprecedented rigging completely scoring off the victory of Muslim United Front's candidates. The NC in its history has always begged for economic packages from the center and stayed in power compromising honor & dignity of Kashmiries & now when out of power, they are harping on political solution thereby be-fooling the poor & educated UN-employed youths the release said & added that virtually Kashmir problem is the fallout of false promises made by government of India as also successive state governments with people of State and resorting to unprecedented corruption, Nepotism, backdoor appointments, UN-employment & loot & plunder and showing scant regard to the constitutional Institutions. |
