Home for the aged and infirm today celebrated its foundation day where the members of managing committee and inmates participated with enthusiasm.
Vidhya Nath Gupta, vice president paid tributes to Ram Nath Prabhkar, the founder of the home.
The home has completed 44 years of humble and noble services to ameliorate the hardships of scores of the needy, helpless, destitute aged and infirm members of the society irrespective of their case creed or colour, Gupta said.
A recreation centre for senior citizen has also been set up in home which is provided with free reading material, recreational and entertainment facilities whose they can interact among themselves and inmates of the home as well, he added.
