| Forah stresses reservation to women folk | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 20 The wrong policies of the previous governments and adopted by the present coalition government are responsible for discrimination against the women folk of the state. This was stated by state president, Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD), Syed Nabi Forah while addressing a press conference here today. He said that in order to get good support of the women the party has organized women units on grass-root level in every assembly segments. He added that the party national president, Lalu Parsad Yadav is fighting for 30 pc reservation for women in order the provide good quality of education to women folk but the state government has failed to provide them reservation. Speaking on the occasion president women wing Gaytri Devi said that since coalition government has failed to provide employment to unemployed and the educated youth of the state, the number of unemployed youth in the state has reached at an alarming height. She further appealed to the women to join the party so that their problems get highlighted. Among others who participated in the conference were Brij Bala, Sinha Sharma, Rafiqa, Sheela Sharma, Sunita Padha, Chanchla Devi, Rajni Devi and Geeta Manhas.
