| 8-member veteran TT team leaves for Punjab | | | Early Times Reporter

The eight-member veteran table tennis team of Jammu and Kashmir today left for the 15th National Veteran Table Tennis Championship starting at Jalandhar in Punjab from tomorrow.
To taking part in three different age categories of plus-40, plus 50 and plus 60, the team is led by Ashwani Kumar of J&K Forest Department. Earlier, the senior paddlers underwent a coaching camp to prepare for the national event.
“Since the four-day event is starting tomorrow, most of the players shall proceed for the venue this evening itself whereas the remaining will join the team by tomorrow,” Ashwani Kumar told Sports & Allied News.
The team: Ashwani Kumar, Mahesh Kumar, Jeel Lal Kalsi, Sanjay (all plus 40 group), Parshotam Khajuria, D B Sadhotra, Digpal Singh Jamwal (all plus 50) and V K Sarin (plus 60 category).
