| Home Guard workers dharna enter day 88 | | |

The on-going dharna of Home Guard Association entered 88th day today. The dharna is being held to press the authorities to regularize their services.
Kamla Verma, president of Home Guard Welfare Association said that Chief Minister on January 30, 2007 had promised that all the home guards would be regularized, but till date no action has been taken. She said during last elections, Congress party had promised of regularizing them in its menefesto. She urged upon the Chief Minister full-fill the promise and save poor home guard workers from starvation.
