| Tennis Ball Cricket meet begins at Udhampur | | |

As many as 12 teams representing various schools and clubs have come forward to take part in the two-day District Udhampur Open Tennis Ball Cricket Championship at Sports Stadium here under the banner of District Tennis Ball Cricket Association.
In all, 12 teams are taking part in this tournament, which was declared open by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer Udhampur, B K Bhat.
The opening day matches were won by Aryan Club, Army School XI, Bhagat Singh Club, Holy Angles School XI, Brahm Rishi Barwa and Young Club.
Today’s matches were officiated by Parminder Manhas, Purshotam Sharma, Laxmikant Singh, Ashwani Sharma, Raj Kumar and Som Raj Khajuria.
The results: Aryan Club bt Friends Club by three wickets; Army School Dhar Road bt Brahm Rishi Barwa again by three wickets; Bhagat Singh Cub bt Surya Club by four wickets; Holy Angles bt CMS Udhampur by seven wickets; Brahm Rishi Barwa XI bt Army School by 11 runs and Young Club bt United Club by four wickets.
