| FIR booked against PDP MP | | |

In a surprise development police registered FIR against PDP leader and Rajya Sabha MP TS Bajwa on Friday under section 342, and 353 of RPC for restraining sub divisional magistrate RS Pura while she was discharging her official duty.
One close relative of TS Bajwa, Sukha Singh was also named in the FIR.
Bajwa had entered in to a brawl with the SDM Mandeep Kaur when she was supervising demolition drive in RS Pura on Thursday.
Official sources said, SDM had lodged a complaint alleging Rajya Sabha MP prevented her from discharging her official duty on the ground.In her complaint she had pointed that associates of Rajya Sabha MP manhandled her and restrained her from discharging duty.
