| Qazi Mushtaq joins PDP | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 23 Qazi Mushtaq Ahmad a retired RTO who belongs to a well reputed family from Kishtwar along with his supporters today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in presence of PDP President Ms. Mehbooba Mufti. Speaking on the occasion Ms Mufti said PDP is emerging as a voice of the masses as the people across the state feel that it is the only party that could safeguard their political and economic interests. She said the consistent policy adopted by the PDP on the crucial issues concerning the interests of the State and its people has made the party credible among the masses. She said people from across the State are eager to join the party-fold and PDP would always welcome the like-minded people. PDP expects a real boost in its cadre in joining of Qazi who has a very vast area of influence in the district. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Qazi described Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and Ms. Mehbooba Mufti as revolutionary leaders who he said have transformed the political complexion of the state by their pro-people policies. He said during the three years in governance PDP delivered on its commitments and the people felt the relief both on the security and developmental front. Prominent among other supporters of Mr. Qazi who also joined PDP included Haji Ghulam Ali Shah and Haji Abdul Aziz Ginoo from Marwah. Senior PDP leader and MoS Education and Health Peer Mohammad Hussain and State Secretary Syed Asghar Ali were present on the occasion. |
