| Coalition in state should arrange meeting of PM with separatists: Panthers | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 23 The Panthers Party plans to celebrate its silver jubilee not only in the Jammu region but also in the Kashmir valley.It has decided to hold party functions in all the districts in the Jammu region in the month of March and cover the Kashmir valley during April-May period. According to leader of the Panthers Party in the state Assembly,Harsh Dev Singh,”we shall meet a cross section of people in the Kashmir valley and seek their support for our candidates in the next election.” In reply to a question he said “we may not meet separatist leaders individually during our mass contact programme in Kashmir.But will give a call to them to join the mainstream political platform.” Harsh Dev suggested to the Kashmiri separatists to participate in the process of dialogue and in the election so that they too were instrumental in bringing about peace and progress in the state. The Panthers Party leader suggested to the state Government to arrange a meeting between the APHC leaders and the Prime Minister.Dr Manmohan Singh.He said a piquant situation has emerged because on one hand the APHC leaders say they were ready for a dialogue with Dr Manmohan Singh,on the other the Prime Minister says his doors were open for talks.Harsh Dev Singh said that it was for the Prime Minister to send an invitation to the separatists as had been done in the past. |
