| Pakistan elections have shown healthy change: Peerzada | | | Early Times Reporter Reasi | Feb 23 Former Minister and Ex-Chief of State Congress while addressing a public meeting at Talwara, said Pakistan elections have shown healthy changes by which democratic setup in that country will be strengthen. These elections he said, has shown a lesson for all those in Jammu & Kashmir who do not believe in the electoral process and hope that the newly formed government of Pakistan will discourage extremism and violence and share good neighboring relations with us. Peerzada also lauded the people of Pakistan for giving historical favour of moderate sections against extremists in Pakistan. He impressed upon the state government to provide equal opportunities of development for all the regions of the state so that forces encouraging regionalism, hatred are discouraged. He further said that government should ensure speedy as well as equal development throughout the state. Lauding the role of Gujjar and Bakarwals and other downtrodden sections of the state for their patriotic enthusiasm in the state, he said that this community has always sacrificed a lot for the well being of the state especially during crisis. He stressed upon the government to take the welfare measures for these communities on war footing so that these people will also take the benefits of development initiated by the state government. Peerzada appealed all the people irrespective of cast creed, religion to come forward and take part in the development process of the state and also cooperate in strengthening and maintaining the secular fabric of the state.
