| Vimal to take on Mohd Ayub in boys Caroom final | | | Early Times Reporter

Mohd Monis Ayub and Vimal Bhat have made it into the final of boys group in the ongoing State Carrom Championship underway at SOS School Gole Gujral near here under the banner of J&K Carrom Association.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, Vimal Bhat defeated Navleen Singh while Ayub trounced Rahul Abrol. “The finals and prize distribution of the state championship shall take place on February 25 at 2 pm at the same venue,” coordinator of the competition, G S Bakshi told Sports & Allied News.
Meanwhile in the girls section, semifinals position has been cleared. Mehak Pandita, Sonali Pandita, Rashi Wali and Anita have qualified for the last four stages.
Now, in the semi-finals to be played on the concluding day, Mehak shall be playing against Rashi Wali while Anita shall meet Sonali Pandita for the final berth.
Earlier, in the today’s boys semi-finals, vice-president of the J&K Carrom Association, Paramjit Singh and Vimal Kour were guests of honour. |
