Charak holds interaction with students

“In era of globalization we cannot keep our students in isolation, as there is need to develop various skills, and creative attitude among them as per the international standard, so that student is able to compete in the world market global managers,” said minister for higher education G.S Charak, while interacting with the students from Government College for Women, Anantnag here today.
The girl students who had returned from educational tour to Mumbai and Goa, were advised by the minister to work and maintain rich culture of the state, as they have to ply a important role in shaping the future of the J&K state. He said women is ocean of strength patience preservation and power which can lead the nation to prosperity. He on the occasion said who knows that tomorrow some girl students sitting here will bring laurels not only to Jammu and Kashmir but to whole country.
Charak further said, people of J&K State are know world over for communal harmony, brotherhood and love and such it is your duty to maintain this tradition. He also asked the girls students to work in the direction of women empowerment especially is rural areas by prompting literacy and health related issues.
The students who had returned from the tour shared their experiences with the minister and said that it was a good opportunity provided by the college principal, Prof. S.L Kohli, as they got an opportunity to see the rich cultural heritage of India. They had all praise for the principal, staff and the tour management for excellent conduct of the tour.
Earlier the hon’ble minister was welcome by students led by Archana Gupta NSS volunteer of government S.P.M.R College of Commerce Jammu.
Vote of thanks was presented by Miss. Lbna Latoo student of government degree college for women, Anantnag.
On the occasion Prof. M.S Biloria, Principal government S.P.M.R college of commerce Jammu and Prof S.L Kohli, Principal, government degree college for women, Anantnag, Kashmir express their desire to work as a team for the promotion of culture and academics amongst the students by organizing cultural youth exchange programes there by fulfilling the dream of education minister of making educational institution a hug of knowledge and goodwill.
