| ABVP celebrates its foundation day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 8: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) celebrated its foundations at Bal Ashram Ambphala, Jammu on Sunday.
The programme was attended by Ruchit Sharma (KAS) and Deepak Gupta (State Secretary, ABVP JK).
Welcome Address was given by Giving Sharma ( Jammu Mahanagar President ABVP ) in which he thanked the Bal Ashram Authorities, Ruchit Sharma For sparing time for the Programme. He thanked students and parents who have attended today's programme.
Appreciating the programme organised by ABVP Ruchit Sharam said that ABVP is the only students organisation which is working for the development of students across the world, he further thanked ABVP for giving him this opportunity to meet the students.
Deepak Gupta while addressing the students said that ABVP is world's number one student organisation and apart of any political party. He said that after the independence a need was felt that a Nationalist Student organisation should lead the students community in the country so in 1949, 9 July ABVP was established constitutionally.
He said that students development, national Reconstruction are the objectives of ABVP by it's three words-knowledge, character and unity. He said that ABVP is a principle oriented organisation which runs on nationalist principle with no compromise on issues of National interest.
He appealed students to join ABVP in big numbers so that this National Movement is given a better direction.
Piyush Khajuria ,ABVP Jammu Mahanagar Secretary, gave the vote of thanks and he thanked each and everyone who has helped in Organising this programme in such colour and valour. |
