| ISS distributes certificate under scholarship prog | | | Early Times Reporter JAMMU | FEB 24
The Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) New Delhi organized a function at Tourist Spot Jhajhar Kotli to mark the successful completion of two year course on English Communication Skill development under English access micro-scholarship progarmme. As per press release programme comprises of displaying poster and various activities, performance of recreational and cultural activities by the students. Final assessment of the individual performance of students was judged through completion. Nine students who performed well were awarded trophies. The programme was completed in four higher secondary school of the Jammu. The programme is held under the guidance of Director ISS, Dr. George Mathew with full co-operation of Dy. Commissioner Jammu, Hirdesh Kumar Singh. Programme sponsored by US department of State American Embassy, New Delhi. The function at Jajarkotli was attended by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, Prof. J.R. Panda, Rani Baloria and Parveen Kumar Sharma besides teachers and students of participating schools. On the occasion certificates were given to the students of the guest present on the occasion. For implementation of programme at local level a rigorous monitoring and field visit undertaken by Dr. Agarwal and active team efforts put by every team member particularly Silky VAid, Aarti, Ajay, Sheikh and every principal and attendant of the programme are proved to be an assets. After distribution of certificate Parveen Kumar Sharma by knowing the impacts and applicability of the programme in Jammu honoured personally with a memento to Dr. Sanjay Agarwal, Prof. J.R. Panda and Rani Baloria.
