| Hizbul militant arrested | | |

A Pakistan-trained militant of Hizbul Mujahideen was arrested at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a joint operation of police and CRPF, Javid Ahmad Sheikh alias Rizwan was arrested in Pulwama yesterday, a police spokesman said.
Two hand grenades were recovered from his possession.
Rizwan was active in Pulwama district since 2001 and was wanted by police in many militancy related cases, the spokesman said adding police has registered a case and was questioning him.
