| Parents more concerned about the education standard | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 24 Scores of prospective parents along with their children attend a counseling and presentation session organised by the Indian Heritage School (IHS), Bungal, at Hotel Asia here today. The school authorities explained the techniques of teaching opted by the IHS teachers besides methods being used for the mental growth of the students. A session of video demonstration was dedicated for the parents and their wards. The prospective parents raised queries in pretext the differences in studies pattern against other schools of the region. Queries were raised about the hostel accommodation, sanitation, food, sports and other facilities being offered by the institution. The parents were seen more concerned about the education standard and the facilities for the students at the school. The school principal Soham Anand said the IHS, Residential and Day Boarding, has been set up with a commitment for providing quality education of the International standard and for the holistic development of the children. He said that the admissions were open till March 15 and the school authorities have decided to conduct entrance tests even for individuals too. The parents were most welcome at any day.
