| ‘Industrialists discriminate in providing employment’ | | | Early Times Reporter

Addressing the Panther Trade Union (PTU) workers at Samba here today its president S. Daljit Singh expressed his concern for not employing local youth by the industrialist in their units. He said workers from outside the state are given preference over local workers, resulting increasing the group of unemployment.
Singh on the occasion urged upon the Industrialist who have established factories in the SIDCO Complex, give preference to the local youth.
He also extended full support of PTU to government employees and SRTC who are on strike Singh urged upon the administration to except all demands of the employees so that they resume their duties. He also demanded that release pay and Cola of employees without any further. |
