Cabinet meeting today

The state cabinet is meeting here tomorrow under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Sources said that a major point on the cabinet agenda is approval of 6000 posts of Anganwari workers in the state. These posts was sought to be created with central funding a nod for which was obtained last month. The cabinet is also likely to amend the recruitment criteria for filling up the posts of Anganwadi workers.
Sources said that the cabinet is also likely to take up some transfers and postings in the Police and Civil Administration. However, a decision on filling up of top administrative vacancies may not be arrived at even in tomorrow's meeting, indicated the sources.
