| Police telecom network in J&K to be upgraded | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | Feb 26 The police telecommunication network in Jammu and Kashmir will be upgraded and modernised to improve the connectivity by doing away with outdated technologies. This was decided at a meeting between Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda and police telecommunication officers here, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. He said threadbare discussions were held for upgradation of police telecommunication set-up during the meeting and the DGP was briefed about various aspects of existing network with focus on doing away with outdated technologies and introducing new concepts to improve connectivity. |
