| Farooq releases issue of ‘Adarsh’ magazine | | | Early Times Reporter

Fourth issue of annual school magazine ‘Adarsh’ was released today by the management of ASN Hr. Secondary School, at a function organized at Amar Singh Club here.
NC patron Farooq Abdullah was the chief guest on the occasion, while Ajay Sadhotra, MLA presided over the function.
The function started with the traditional lightning of lamp by the chief guest.
Administrator of the school and editor of the magazine gave the brief report of the magazine and highlighted its content.
While speaking on the occasion, Sadhotra congratulated the school management for showing brilliance in education as well as in extracurricular activities. He added that the effort the Editorial Board of the magazine in enhancing its content as wella s context is praise worthy.
Farooq greeted the editorial board for doing yeoman service and for being able to gather influential and intellectual people in giving magazine a proper shape and structure. He expressed that introduction of magazine is a way to inculcate the hidden talent to the child and to develop the habit of writing amongst the students. He also stressed the youth to indulge in voluntary spirit amongst them to come forward and join hands to strengthen the nation and obey the true meaning of being an adarsh in the society.
Vote of thanks was presented by PB Kapoor, principal of the school.
Others presented on the occasion included Sorav Bhagat, Dc Samba, OM Vidyarthi, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, SK Sharma, ID Soni and Shiv Dev Manhas. |
