| JK Bank holds mass awareness camp | | | Early Times Reporter

To aware the people of the villages about the services being offered by the bank; the Jammu and Kashmir Bank organized a rural mass awareness camp at New Modern Higher Secondary school, Mawa here today.
On the occasion, tehsildar block development officer (BDO) and the officers from the agriculture and horticulture department along with the principal of the school apprised the people about the welfare schemes of their respective departments. The bank officials also motivated the children belonging to weaker sections of the society to continue their education as per Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
During the camp, children were also given stationary items wile 151 no frill accounts were opened. 14 KCCs, 8 car loans, 13 tractor loans and 6 agriculture loans were also disbursed. Bank officials also promised to hold similar education initiative in the other pars of the district and appealed to the people to keep in touch with the bank officials for a long lasting relationship. |
